I’m originally from Providence, R.I. (USA), but I’ve been living in beautiful Italy for years now. With over 25 years of experience teaching foreign students—both in-person and online—I’ve discovered the #1 challenge English learners face: pronunciation.

I created this course because I was frustrated at the lack of high-quality and accurate teaching materials for contemporary British English pronunciation.
Experienced I’ve been teaching pronunciation for over a decade. In that time, I’ve taught students from 90 countries. I also lecture at the Summer Course in English Phonetics at University College London (UCL).
Professional I’m a member of the International Phonetic Association.
Qualified I have a first-class BA (Hons) degree in languages, an MA in acting, a CELTA for teaching English, and the International Phonetic Association (IPA) Certificate.
